Tackling the Fatty Tissue That Leads to Cellulite (How Combining Fat Cavitation and Radio Frequency is the Answer)

Fatty Tissue That Leads to Cellulite on legs

Cellulite affects the large majority of women around the world. Now, there’s a cellulite treatment that can tackle the condition and leave your legs looking smoother than ever.

According to The International Dermal Institute, up to 90% of women will have cellulite at some point in their lives.

It’s something that affects millions of people, regardless of age. Once you’ve hit puberty, there’s a possibility that you’ll develop cellulite.

A great diet and exercise don’t always stave it off either. Unfortunately, these are the two main types of treatment that most people rely on. Before examining how you can treat it, let’s look at what cellulite is.

What is Cellulite?

Underneath your skin lies a band of connective tissues called septa. It’s the connection between these tissues that holds the key to why cellulite forms. Over time, these tissues weaken and the connections become looser. This creates small pockets and gaps in the tissue.

We can look to research conducted in the 1970s to really dig into the science behind this.

This is when Drs. Muller and Nurnberger teamed up to figure out the answer to an age-old question.

Why do women experience much harsher cellulite than men?

To find the answers, they examined the female body in detail. They discovered that in women’s bodies, the uppermost layer of the hypodermis contains an array of fat cell chambers. Each of these is full to the brim with fat cells.

The previously mentioned septa is an array of vertical walls that separate these chambers.

They noticed that it was the construction of these chambers that lay at the root of the problem.

Each chamber has a cap that’s essentially a dome. Unfortunately, it’s not structurally sound. Pressure can cause that dome to collapse. This can lead to the development of much smaller fat clusters, known as papillae adipose. These cluster underneath the skin after forming.

It’s a combination of these smaller clusters and the larger chambers that leads to cellulite forming.

But that didn’t answer the question of why women suffer from cellulite more than men.

Cellulite

The duo continued their study and found that men also have fatty chambers separated by septa. But in men, these chambers are smaller and have a different shape. That makes them more able to withstand the pressure that leads to the women’s chambers collapsing.

Further research shows us that cellulite occurs in four stages.

  • Stage 1 – The skin’s dermis starts to break down due to the weakening of capillaries and blood vessels. When this happens, the fat cells inside the fat chambers become engorged with lipids. This leads them to swell up to 3 times their size, which causes pressure to form on the chamber. Eventually, the chamber breaks down and clusters of fat cells start to form.
  • Stage 2 – The deterioration of both the skin and blood cells continues. Your fat cells keep getting larger, which serves to push much-needed blood vessels further away. This can cause gaps to appear in your dermis, which can trigger an inflammatory response. That’s what leads to the orange peeling effect that so many people experience.
  • Stage 3 – Deterioration worsens, which lowers your dermis’ metabolism. This slows the recovery rate further, making you even more prone to the fatty bulges. At this stage, protein cells start forming around the fatty cell clusters.
  • Stage 4 – Hard fatty nodules become evident. These are fatty clusters with a hardened protein shell surrounding them.

Drs. Muller and Nurnberger established why women struggle with cellulite more than men.

Unfortunately, they didn’t devise a way to help with cellulite reduction.

Fast forward to today and we now have a way to combat the condition.

Introducing the Dalyance

The Dalyance is a special piece of equipment that’s a revolution in cellulite reduction technology.

It uses a combination of radio frequency and cavitation to combat the condition at all stages.

It can help if you’ve just started to develop cellulite or if you’re dealing with the hardened fatty deposits that exercise just won’t shift.

With the Dalyance, you don’t just break down the fat. You tighten the skin tissues so that it doesn’t come back.

To understand how it works, we need to look at the effects that radio frequency and cavitation have on the body.

How a Member of the Cabinet de Dermatologie Esthétique Showed the Effects of Radio Frequency

How to get rid of cellulite? Let’s tackle the use of radio frequency first.

RF tackles one of the issues with cellulite treatment that we haven’t discussed yet – the collagen problem.

Collagen is a protein that plays a huge role in maintaining skin strength. You can think of it as the building blocks of your skin.

As these blocks weaken with age, you lose a lot of the protection you had against cellulite.

The key to RF is that it can cause collagen tissues to contract. That means they tighten and regain their structural integrity.

The idea is to contour the body into a more desirable shape.

That’s the theory, at least.

In 2017, Dr. Isabelle Rousseaux, who’s a member of the Cabinet de Dermatologie Esthétique in France, set out to prove it. She teamed with Dr. Sam Robson of Temple Medical in Scotland.

Together, they looked at the effects of RF treatment on 25 patients, 23 of whom were women.

They found something remarkable.

At the end of the study, 96% of their patients reported an improvement in body shape. Of the original batch of 25, 44% had 75% improvement or higher as rated by the Global Aesthetic Improvement Scale. This is a five-point scale with which patients can rate outcomes. The outcomes range from “worse” to “very much improved”.

Together, the duo discovered that RF provides a pain-free way of tightening up the skin. Best of all, it only takes between 5 and 8 treatments to do it.

That handles the skin issue. But what about all of the fatty tissue that cellulite treatment needs to get rid of?

For that, we can look towards the fat cavitation process.

Research from the University of Florence Shows that Cavitation Works

In 2013, a group of researchers set out to discover if ultrasound fat cavitation really works.

They’d heard about its use as an alternative to liposuction. Now, they wanted to figure out if it did what people said it did.

To do that, they collected samples of fatty tissue to test independently. They also conducted tests on living patients.

As importantly, they also devised a sham treatment to test cavitation against.

They discovered that cavitation causes a significant reduction in fatty tissues.

So, how does fat cavitation and Radio Frequency work?

With fat cavitation, you apply pressure to fat cells using low-frequency ultrasound waves. This pressure causes the fat cell to basically disintegrate. It enters a liquid form and begins travelling around your body. When it hits the liver, your body turns it into energy.

Pressure may have caused the fatty clusters to form in the first place. But with cavitation, you can use pressure to destroy them.

That means it gives you two benefits. Not only do you destroy the fat cells that cause cellulite, but you also use them to give your body a boost.

Post Cellulite Procedure

Together, RF and cavitation form a dream team. The cavitation process breaks down the fats and gets them out of the way. RF then strengthens the collagen in your tissues to create a barrier against more fat taking its place.

Are There Other Reasons to Use This Cellulite Treatment?

The Dalyance combines the powers of RF and cavitation treatment to tackle cellulite from all angles.

You’ll see a near-immediate reduction in the signs of the condition. Once you’ve finished your treatment, you’ll have much smoother skin.

Its effectiveness alone is more than enough to consider this type of treatment. However, there are several other benefits to keep in mind.

  • The treatment is completely safe and pain-free. That’s a huge contrast to the surgical procedures that so many people undertake. You don’t have to go under the knife and you’re not walking away with any scars.
  • There’s absolutely no downtime when treatment ends. You’re not going to find yourself lying in bed for days recovering. You just get it done and then you’re ready to go about the rest of your day.
  • There are no needles to deal with and no anaesthesia. It’s a completely non-invasive procedure.
The Final Word

The Dalyance is a revolution in cellulite reduction technology.

By combining the power of RF and cavitation, it tackles cellulite at its core. With the Dalyance, you can destroy the fatty clusters that make it so difficult to tone your legs. Then, you can tighten and contour your skin so it looks just the way that you want it to.

Best of all, you can do it all without surgery.

Noted practitioners from the University of Florence and the Cabinet de Dermatologie Esthétique show that it works.

Now, it’s time to give it a try.
